What is Crusader Kings III?
Crusader Kings III is a grand strategy game and a medieval life simulation that was released in February 2016, with previous versions having been published in 2012 and 2014. The player takes the role of a Christian lord from the medieval era trying to conquer Europe and establish an Empire. Features include realistic medieval era lordship and dynasty management, real-time battles for control of territory, overhauled trade system, and improved graphics.
The game is available for PC, Mac OSX, and Linux operating systems on Steam, and through the Paradox Interactive website.
Crusader Kings III is an ambitious attempt by Paradox Interactive to include as much content in one game as possible without requiring players to start a new game every time they want to play a new scenario. The game features a user-friendly (albeit still complex) interface, which allows players to direct their character's activities as they choose.
Crossroads is the name of the real-life medieval cities that are in Crusader Kings III. When the player explores cities, there are decisions to be made. The player can decide if they want to build a marketplace or an inn.
